If you’re a Stranger Things fan eagerly awaiting new episodes, there’s good news! Filming for Stranger Things Season 5 has begun. We’ve gathered all the latest information about what to expect in the upcoming season 5.
When the Filming began and will End
On January 8, 2024 Stranger Things production started filing there new season, they shared the message CODE Red on there social media with cast and crew photo.
The filming might go throug till end of 2024. As We already know they are looking to make Season 5 in 2 Parts. So we yet don’t know if they are going to shoot both part or not.
First Episode Leaked !
Not really, its not leaked but we know about first line of Stranger Things season 5 and first episode, Thanks to there official account on X (Twitter)
The first episode of season 5 will be called The Crawl, which most probably means the Hawkins is ready for another darkness. The darkness is crawling into Hawkins. With first episode about darkness and episode starting with child singing we are set to be theorizing by the monster.
New Addition in Cast
There will be some new faces on the show, One such is Linda Hamilton who you may have seen in The Terminator, Chuck Movies. This was confirmed at Tudum: A Global Fan Event. What role she will be doing is still a mystery and we have to wait till season to release, but one thing is sure is she is fan of the show. As she quoted at event regarding her presence on the show. She said
“I don’t know how to be a fangirl and an actress at the same time. I’m gonna work on that.“
Stranger Things Season 5 Release Date
As we said they have just began the filming and they have to shoot 2 chapter of season 5. So realstically it will take long time compare to other season but we might see the glimpses of Season 5 Chapter 1 in 2025 and it might release on 2026.
The The Duffer brothers creator of Stranger Things are going to cover lot of things like Hawkins Lab, Upside Down’s lore, Mind Flayer and Will Connection. They most probably going to connect all lose end in Season 5 for big climax to come.

We were like, ‘We know what’s going on in the Upside Down, more or less, but we want it to be unknowable. We want it to be mysterious. But they were like, ‘Yeah, but can you write it down?’ And so we wrote it all down.
